Coleção "texêre"

A Coleção/Figurino TEXÊRE foi concebida na disciplina de Estilismo II, ofertada no 4° semestre do curso de moda da Faculdade Santa Marcelina.

Segue trecho do release da coleção-figurino:

"O intuito da coleção-figurino foi traçar um paralelo entre a moda e a literatura. A ideia deste projeto surgiu a partir da descoberta da palavra TEXÊRE. A expressão vem do latim, que significa "construir'', "tecer" e esse vocábulo deu origem aos termos texto e tecido. E, tanto o texto, quanto o tecido são compostos por linhas. Um deles tem linhas feitas de palavras, o outro tem as linhas compostas por fibras. Mas ambos tem corpo, tem começo, tem meio e tem fim. Ambos são um entrelaçamento de significados que só funcionam juntos, quando tramados.

Quem trama tudo isso, no caso dos textos, são os escritores, os poetas, os jornalistas. No caso dos tecidos são os artesãos, os estilistas. Todos estão ali para contar uma história, para criar significados e símbolos. Um escritor é um estilista, um estilista é um escritor.

Assim, o que deu origem às formas das roupas da coleção foram as letras do nosso alfabeto. Diversas letras foram combinadas, repetidas e invertidas para a criação de cada um dos looks da coleção “TEXERE”. Quanto aos tecidos, diversas telas coloridas e brilhantes trazem a ideia desse entrelaçamento e cruzamento de linhas, além de dar o toque onírico e divertido da coleção, que tem uma forte relação com o mundo do circo, do espetáculo e da performance. Combinados a estes mais espalhafatosos, também foram usados muitos tecidos simples e alguns até banalizados, como o algodão cru, o pano de chão e cetins simples e estampados. "

The TEXÊRE Collection/Costume was conceived in the Styling II course, offered in the 4th semester of the Fashion course at Faculdade Santa Marcelina.

'The purpose of the collection-costume was to draw a parallel between fashion and literature. The idea for this project emerged from the discovery of the word TEXÊRE. The expression comes from Latin, meaning "to build," "to weave," and this word gave rise to the terms text and fabric. Both text and fabric are made of lines. One has lines made of words, the other has lines made of fibers. But both have body, a beginning, a middle, and an end. Both are an intertwining of meanings that only work together when woven.

Those who weave all this, in the case of texts, are writers, poets, journalists. In the case of fabrics, they are artisans, designers. They are all there to tell a story, to create meanings and symbols. A writer is a designer, a designer is a writer.

Thus, what gave shape to the clothes in the collection were the letters of our alphabet. Several letters were combined, repeated, and inverted to create each of the looks in the “TEXÊRE” collection. As for the fabrics, various colorful and shiny canvases bring the idea of this intertwining and crossing of lines, in addition to adding the dreamlike and fun touch of the collection, which has a strong connection with the world of the circus, spectacle, and performance. Combined with these more flamboyant ones, many simple fabrics and even some trivialized fabrics, such as raw cotton, floor cloths, and simple and printed satins, were also used
